SOLSolutions

Intelligence solutions across the built environment.

Purpose-built workflows. Connected data. Construction-domain understanding.

DVA Intelligence helps organisations design and implement AI-enabled workflows across the built-environment lifecycle. Rather than imposing a single software product, we develop solutions around the organisation's operational priorities, available systems and information requirements.

Scoped per client

These are solution families and professional services, not software subscriptions. Automation depends on approved inputs, system access and pilot validation. Every engagement is scoped individually: pricing, timelines and results are proposal-specific. Linked demos are illustrative and use fictional data.

01Six solution families

Where connected intelligence makes a difference.

Design & engineering intelligence

Connect BIM and drawing references, design revisions, technical queries, submission records and coordination information.

Tender & commercial intelligence

Structure incoming tenders, reconcile documents and addenda, connect approved quantities and evaluate relevant commercial or operational constraints.

For contractors, subcontractors and consultants

Construction delivery intelligence

Bring schedules, procurement records, RFIs, field updates and work-package information together to investigate project dependencies and exceptions.

For contractors and developers' project teams

Workforce & resource intelligence

Connect project commitments, workforce availability and approved planning assumptions to support organisation-wide resource decisions.

For contractors and subcontractors with shared crews

Enterprise & asset intelligence

Explore cross-project and asset information, data integration and decision-support workflows for organisations managing complex built-environment portfolios.

For developers, asset owners and multi-project organisations

IDD & digital transformation

Assess digital-delivery requirements, define information flows, document implementation responsibilities and prepare measurable transformation plans. Our approach

For contractors, consultants and developers working to IDD requirements

02Professional services

How we deliver each solution family.

Five professional services sit beneath the six solution families. Every engagement enters the same way: an introductory discovery, a scoped diagnostic, then a measured pilot. How engagements start

  1. 01

    AI & digital transformation advisory

Operational assessment, use-case prioritisation, technology selection and an integration roadmap.

Establishes where AI and integration create meaningful value.

  2. 02

    Systems & data integration

Agreed connectors, workflow integration, data reconciliation and system architecture.

Connects fragmented business and project information.

  3. 03

    Construction intelligence engineering

Domain ontology, knowledge relationships, evidence-aware AI workflows and decision-support interfaces.

Turns connected information into operational intelligence.

  4. 04

    Enterprise AI implementation

Client-specific architecture and integration services on enterprise data and AI platforms.

Supports larger, more complex enterprise requirements.

  5. 05

    Implementation & managed improvement

Training, performance evaluation, maintenance and further workflow development.

Sustains and expands the new capability.

03Example workflows

Eight example workflows, filtered by role.

Examples of what we can design and deliver within the six solution families. Each starts from a trigger your team already deals with and ends with a decision a named person approves. Pick your role, then open a workflow to see its trigger, inputs, flow and who decides.

01

Tender & bid intelligence

"Should we bid, and what do we need to clarify?"

Primary storyExample workflow

Trigger

An Invitation to Tender (ITT), drawing package or tender email arrives.

Inputs

  • Authorised inbox
  • Tender documents
  • Scopes
  • BOQ
  • Drawings
  • Addenda
  • Historical bid data

Intended outcome

Less repeated search, stronger bid completeness and faster triage.

Who decides

The output is a bid/no-bid or clarification brief. Your team reviews it and makes the call.

Flow

  1. Detect package
  2. Register tender
  3. Classify disciplines and trades
  4. Preserve revisions
  5. Identify omissions and questions
  6. Compare with company constraints
  7. Bid/no-bid brief for review
02

Quantity / takeoff → manpower capacity

"If we win this tender, do we have enough qualified workers?"

First pilot hypothesisExample workflow

Trigger

Your estimator approves quantities and labour-hour assumptions for a new tender.

Inputs

  • Vendor-verified measurements
  • Task productivity rates
  • Trade and skill mix
  • Existing project commitments
  • Workforce availability
  • Project schedules

Intended outcome

An evidence-backed answer to "Can we take on this job?"

What we don't claim

Quantities come from your estimator and verified tools. We don't claim automated takeoff accuracy or specialist optimisation results.

Flow

  1. Import accepted estimate
  2. Map to trade and work package
  3. Calculate labour demand
  4. Check constraints across projects
  5. Optional specialist schedule scenario
  6. Manager reviews capacity and options
03

Drawing, BIM & revision intelligence

"What changed, and what might need review?"

Example workflow

Trigger

A new approved drawing or BIM revision.

Inputs

  • CDE model and drawing records
  • Element identities
  • Revisions
  • Scope and work packages
  • RFIs
  • Takeoff revision links

Intended outcome

Fewer missed changes, with every affected record traceable to its source revision.

What we don't claim

Changes to quantities, schedule and cost stay potential impacts until they are separately calculated and approved.

Flow

  1. Compare source versions
  2. Show affected records and candidate dependencies
  3. Isolate unverified relationships
  4. Request assigned review
  5. Prepare change-impact investigation

04

RFI, submittal & issue intelligence

"Which issues are overdue, and who must act?"

Example workflow

Trigger

An open RFI, late response, unresolved technical query or pending approval.

Inputs

  • RFI register
  • Due dates
  • Drawing references
  • Work packages
  • Responsible party
  • Schedule context

Intended outcome

Traceable RFI resolution and visibility into which work packages are blocked.

Who decides

No autonomous professional approvals. The system recommends an escalation or clarification; a person acts on it.

Flow

  1. Relate issues to locations and scope
  2. Identify overdue actions
  3. Display evidence and owner
  4. Recommend escalation or clarification

05

Procurement, materials & site readiness

"Which purchase order is holding a planned work package?"

Example workflow

Trigger

A purchase order is delayed, a delivery changes, or an installation lookahead is due.

Inputs

  • Procurement events
  • Package BOM
  • Supplier delivery confirmations
  • Schedule milestones
  • Site status

Intended outcome

Earlier visibility of readiness exceptions, with the purchase order and schedule references behind each one.

What we don't claim

A late delivery is shown as a readiness exception, not as a critical-path delay, unless your schedule supports that.

Flow

  1. Reconcile material against installation package
  2. Detect constraint
  3. Show purchase order and schedule references
  4. Manager reviews action
06

Portfolio workforce & scheduling intelligence

"Where are crews over-allocated across projects?"

Example workflow

Trigger

Several live projects compete for the same crews.

Inputs

  • Project dates
  • Trade demand
  • Confirmed assignments
  • Workforce capacity
  • Workforce constraints

Intended outcome

Coordinated manpower decisions across projects, made by the people accountable for them.

What we don't claim

This doesn't schedule every job automatically. Specialist optimisation tools are called only where they are available and authorised.

Flow

  1. Compare commitments
  2. Identify over-allocation and gaps
  3. Show alternative deployment scenarios
  4. Manager chooses
07

Field reporting, QA/QC, productivity & management reporting

"Do site updates match what the office thinks is happening?"

Example workflow

Trigger

Site photos, inspection forms, work-progress and labour updates come in.

Inputs

  • Approved mobile or field platform
  • Issue and defect logs
  • Resource records
  • Actual-progress records

Intended outcome

Cleaner site-to-office reporting, better traceability and KPI visibility.

Who decides

Safety-related decisions remain with competent personnel.

Flow

  1. Map updates to project, date, location, work package and version
  2. Aggregate into a dashboard
  3. Flag mismatches and missing entries

08

IDD/ITT readiness & deliverable evidence

"What does this tender ask for, and can we show the evidence?"

Example workflow

Trigger

An employer's tender or project requires Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) capabilities and submission evidence.

Inputs

  • The actual ITT or contract
  • Preliminary IDD Implementation Plan (IDDIP)
  • Proposed CDE and software
  • Roles
  • Training
  • Deliverables
  • KPIs

Intended outcome

Better tender preparedness, with gaps visible before submission rather than after.

What we don't claim

Designed to support IDD-aligned workflows and evidence preparation. We never claim tender compliance without reviewing the binding, project-specific requirements.

Flow

  1. Build requirement-to-evidence matrix
  2. Assign owners and deliverables
  3. Surface missing proof
  4. Draft submissions for human review

Adjacent capability · Research & future applications

Opportunity and public-source intelligence

Our earlier research work includes public project signals, company registers, evidence-linked opportunity briefs and regulatory-source mapping. It can support business development, fit assessment and onboarding of future projects.

It is not our construction operations offer. It doesn't establish complete coverage of project appointments, and it doesn't produce certified regulatory conclusions.

SCOPEBoundaries

We connect your tools. We don't replace them.

Specialist vendors and the systems you own keep their domain authority. Where contracts and access allow, we integrate or orchestrate them.

What we don't rebuild
  • BIM authoring and model collaboration tools
  • A full Common Data Environment (CDE) or certified information-management system
  • Specialist 2D/3D quantity takeoff, design calculations, scheduling engines, ERP or field inspection systems
  • Professional engineering judgement, statutory submissions, procurement authorisations or grant eligibility decisions
Pilot-readiness gate

Before any pilot starts, these seven things should be in place:

  1. A named sponsor
  2. A scoped, recurring workflow
  3. Permissioned sample data
  4. A measured baseline
  5. A decision owner
  6. A measurable acceptance test
  7. An agreed security and implementation path

A company's BCA workhead or financial grade doesn't establish this readiness on its own. We define the problem first: no dashboard mockup or vendor licence comes before it.

Discuss a solution for your organisation.

Every engagement starts with the business decision, the operational workflow and the systems involved.
